Juz did my first night call of e med posting. Exciting man! Too fast for me. In the maelstrom of the ED, everything was happening at the same time.. i was listening to orders, carrying out, and trying to reason. Everyone of us had his share of procedures to do tonite.. i was bagging this in extremis patient and a femoral ABG on another. All first time. And.. i seriously suck at simple procedures, even taking blood, reading ECGs, and setting plugs.

This doc who was called down from another dept seriously needs a slap on his face. He sauntered in, took a cursory glance at the patient, flashed a grin (for fark?), then slowly wore his gloves. All when the burst AVF was spurting blood. Well.. can't say too much here. Juz fortunate that there're more assertive pple at the a&e. Dun worry, your lives are in good hands =p
