Groggy

Everytime my sleeping schedule is screwed up, I would wake up feeling groggy despite having slept the same number of hours as I would normally have. 2 days in a row.. Went to elvin's place to play mahjong on friday nite but we ended up chatting at his porch while waiting for yh to come. hope was our new kaki for the nite! Anyway, becos we started late we only played 1 round, interrupted by a cockroach.

And I slept half my saturday away.

Woke up at 4. Went to partyworld from 10 to 2am.. this time we played cards more than we sang. Simon and Junyun joined us. I haven't seen Junyun since bmt heh.. he was from the same platoon. I still think he vaguely resembles jx but the rest dun agree. After that went to raider's at cine to play lan. Evilink was good.. The One made a lot of noise. We were overcharged. Yeebo discovered that we played less than 3 hours but we had to pay $7.70. Supposed to be $2.50 per hour for lan but they charged us the internet rate of $3 per hour. We tried to argue but the guy juz pointed to the receipt. Cheats.. I can't stand it when pple take advantage of me. Dun think I will ever go there again in the future. We kept the receipt though, but I think it will be hard to get the money back. It's a small sum, but we were shortchanged, and I dun like that.

Had prata at jalan kayu, then went home to sleep. I've been spending a lot lately; this month isn't over yet and I think I'm going to exceed my allowance. And I dun understand why I should be enjoying myself so much when I didn't do well for my cas. Yup qt disappointed with my results. Have to buck up.

Sly Scandal

I've always thought that among the last 5 contestants, only sylvester had the entire package of an idol. And I really liked his rendition of Aerosmith's I dun wanna miss a thing.. felt that it was his best song in the competition. But he was deplorable the last episode. Managed to catch it becos my tuition kid cancelled the lesson. Did you all hear how he sang music of the night?? It was not his usual style and he flopped. But he still got more votes than olinda. Girls.. they would rather vote for him than for olinda. WHY?? His smile is mesmerising, my fren says. He has talent too. Ok, but olinda has more talent. This is how the whole thing works, I guess. A popularity poll.

Heard from my fren that becos sly ousted oli out, oli's fans are gonna vote for taufik juz so that sly won't become s'pore idol! But now with the scandal it's hard to say. He needs the contract and money, so his fans will make sure he gets them. I think he's an unfortunate victim of his family's messy state of affairs.. juz imagine, only days before the grand finals and this had to happen. Gd luck hah.. between him and taufik, I know who I'm rooting for!

After toying with the idea of diy for some time, I finally got down to doing it today. The bottle of dye I bought from hong kong 6 months ago was still sitting on my shelf until today. ivan did it for me. thanx pal =] The colour's rusty ash.. felt it was a bit more to the reddish side but it's ok.. a change from my previous colour. My previous colour was qt yellow, then it turned brown after a few weeks. diy is really a cheap, considering the bottle only cost hkd 29.90.

Speaking of hk, the elros girls are back. looks like they enjoyed themselves.. got a keychain from kim. thanx! They managed to delve and find this shopping area meant for locals - Flower Street. And since it's meant for locals, the wares are cheaper and they don't try to fleece pple. good choice for shopping..

Did you watch sylvester sim juz now? I thought he was GOOD! Think daphne will be out this round.. not her fault, juz dat her voice has a weird timbre I dun really appreciate. Remember ken once said her unique voice would also be her weakness..

CAs are finally over.

Looks like we won't be able to go taiwan this year. After a whole afternoon at pple's park centre asking around one by one, we found that our problem was we didn't book early enough. So by now all the direct flights are booked, except for SQ which is a lot more ex. The chan brother's deal was the best but still too much. Mebbe next year.. cos I really would like to go taipei. xi men ding. s'pore has no place that even resembles xi men ding.
